Camino and DayTrip are different tools
The Camino Carryall is a waterproof utility tote, not a cooler. Welded ThickSkin shell, a wide mouth that stays open, and a base that stands up to being dragged across a truck bed. It is for wet, sandy, muddy gear.
The DayTrip lunch tote is the insulated one: a soft cooler sized for a meal, with a magnetic closure. If the recipient wants cold retention, this is the one, and the Camino is not.
Camino Zip adds a zippered top to the Carryall format in smaller 12L and 18L sizes.
Why these get carried
This is the practical argument for the price: a YETI tote is a bag people use in public and keep for years, so the cost per impression over a five-year life is lower than it looks on the purchase order.
